Marsha, at what age would the spots develop? I would be unhappy if I bought a solid and it later developed spots. My daughter bought a white toy poodle with black ears and one large black spot, she was that way when she bought her, so all was fine but as she grew and especially after her first clip, she developed gray spots all over her body, not pronounched spots more like blotches. They do detract from her looks but if you look at her precious little face you forget about the blotches. Gloria
