Hi I am Cindy from Colorado, well I have two chis Peanut and Tux, one
chi/pom Tiko who might as well be full chi, and one diabetic minpin Charly
who is the oldest.
Peanut is almost two years old and he is the smartest dog I have ever known.
He has what I call ChiSP(like ESP) He can make it know just exactly what he
wants to everyone in the family. He loves blankets and if he cant reach it he
will point to it and scratch at it till someone gives it to him. He loves to
sleep in the bed but is crate trained for nights. Usually I take him to bed
but he knows if he gets Dad to hold him he will end up in our bed. He knows
what you tell him and learns very fast, like go get the toy, or go get
Beki(my daughter) He is pee pad trained but will also go outside, he never
has accidents. He loves the snow, but as a short haired dog the cold really
bothers him so he gets sad if I dont let him out in it for a little bit.
Then there is Tux he is the baby of the family, he is not so smart
sometimes, refuses to learn his lessons and has to wear a belly band cause
he will pee right in front of you. He thinks he should be the boss and if
one of the other dogs is doing something he shouldnt be Tux will tattle on
them. He comes and gets me and then goes and barks at the other dog till I
fix the problem. He is stubborn if you want him to do something, but he is
unafraid of anything he likes to get the vacuum.
Tiko is a rescue and was abused in his previous home, Ive had him for about
four years and he is just now starting to act like a regular dog instead of
being frightened of everything. Tiko will get up on just his front legs to
pee its the funniest thing you have ever seen
Charly is my old man he is diabetic, has cataracts and is blind in his one
eye, and had to have his other eye removed. He is happy and active and his
diabetes is in control. He thinks he should be the boss as well. He will
sneak things out of cabinets and guard toys like a pit bull. He lets the
little ones, especially Peanut pap him in the face with their paws and play
with him well.
Those are some of the strange things my boys do!
Nice to meet you!!
Cindy
