My Tootsie is like that.  She will sit and lick the couch until there is a
pretty fair sized wet spot.  Looks like someone peed there, but it was only
her licking.  I sat down once and she started licking my ankle.  I thought,
"I'll just let her go and see how long she'll do that".  47 minutes later, I
was nearly insane and had to make her stop.
