Welcome Lisah,

Congrats on your new baby! "Iota"

I just have to mention, you are the 4th person who has had or has Dobes.
We have 2 and 1 Akita. Iam a big breed person during my dedication to
Obedience Compitition 2 years ago. My daughter's BF introduced our
family to Chihuahuas about 3 years ago, and we just adore them...So now
we have 5 total!! My daughter has two. Our youngest is 4 months old.

When Turbo was a pup he's 2-1/2 years old now - he was really sick with
what your pup has, actually we thought he wasn't going to make it,
because of a severe case of Giardia he was throwing up and had bloody
stools etc...between the Vet, my daughter and I we fed him human baby
food, cooked chicken, mashed veg, Pedialyte and Nutri-Cal. Small
amounts every 2-3 hours.

Maybe you can coax her with slightly ground up boiled chicken...I am
sure you are experienced to put together something she may like. I pray
she'll be well!

Hope that helps a bit.
