I didn't see a recipe at the end, Sharon. I am thinking of cooking for TIa,
but cant figure out how much or how long I can store it. So for now she is
eating Timberwolf (well sort of anyhow, If I can hold out on being mean and
not giving other stuff) and some Beneful (which my lab eats)..

Hi Joy,

My chihuahuas favorite recipe is at the end of this email. All dogs should
be given meat, raw or cooked, veggies, and even fruit. But NEVER give
onions, raisins, grapes, or chocolate. And there is no need to salt food
you cook for them - salt is not good for dogs. But garlic is good for
keeping fleas away. Here's the recipe:

chicken breasts or legs, boiled
veggies - potatoes, peas, carrots

That's it. lol Katie just LOVES this!! Of course you can add whatever
other veggies you want. I can't get her to eat any other veggies though.
She will be one year old next week, and has only recently started eating the
carrots. This is a very simple recipe and doesn't take long to cook. I'm
not positive, but I think dogs need more meat than the veggies, so keep that
in mind when you cook the meal. And NO cooked bones. There's a lot of home
cooked meals for dogs on the Net. I got an ebook of home cooked meals for
dogs on ebay for $1. Anyway, I hope you find this recipe helpful.
