All of my animals eat grass when they out.. Even the cats who are fed an
indoor formula snd hardly ever go out. I thinking eating grass is fairly
normal. Now the dirt, well dogs like dirt.. And I suspect they are actually
eating bugs.. My dogs, both the lab and the chi, both love to bug hunt. And
so did my other two dogs before they passed. So watch closer and see if that
is what happening.

Does anyone else have this problem? My daughter and her husband moved
into a house that doesn't allow pets over a year and 1/2 ago. I notice
that both of her chihuahua's eat a lot of grass and love to scratch the
dirt and eat dirt. Does this mean that they are missing something in
their diet or is this normal? They are both very happy dogs and love to
be with us so anxiety disorder is out of the question. They do sneak
over to mom & dads house occasionally. Any ideas or comments?
