Brutus and Sissy eat grass but not dirt.They normally like to grass when they first go out in the morning.I never seen them eat dirt.To be shure i would call a Vet.How they get out do you leave them out by them self?They can get hurt out of the yard.

My daughter and her husband moved into a house that doesn't allow pets over a year and 1/2 ago. I notice that both of her chihuahua's eat a lot of grass and love to scratch the dirt and eat dirt. Does this mean that they are missing something in their diet or is this normal? They are both very happy dogs and love to be with us so anxiety disorder is out of the question. They do sneak over to mom & dads house occasionally. Any ideas or comments?
