Wow! Everything about this breeder points to backyard breeding or even a puppymill. Please don't buy a puppy from this heartless lady! You will only be keeping her in the business of abusing and neglecting dogs and puppies! I am sure if you keep looking, you will find a caring, knowledgable breeder who treats her dogs like part of the family. Get references! Also, make sure you visit the home and see how the breeding adults are treated. If they are left outside or in a kennel in the backyard, look elsewhere, IMO. These are little Chihuahuas and deserve to be inside with their human family, not outside in a kennel. They are not money-making machines. This lady sounds very selfish and it seems like she is out to make money. She's not breeding to better the breed like a reputable breeder would be. Good luck in your search! Stefanie

I talked to the "breeder" for over an hour last night. Now I think I would be afraid to buy ANY of her dogs. I don't know the number...but she has a LOT. She told me this little dog...who is a year old...was bred...had to have a c section (in May) and the puppy died. As we talked..she opened up and told me about all her dogs that had puppies and the whole litter had died...or all but one died...or they lived to be a couple of months old and then died...how some of her females died while giving birth or right after because "their body turned on them"...that' s a new one to me. I think she has every color of Chi there is...but I can't help but to think she has something bad going on in her blood lines....is it me...what do you guys think? Do you think I should go check her out...see what the dogs look like? My plan was to breed Sox...to what ever female I buy...keep one puppy...Sox and the mother and have all three fixed. Now I'm thinking of NOT breeding and just buying a female who is already spayed. I don't want to go through the stress of having a dog spayed...I get VERY upset when I have to leave my animals at the vet. I know just recently this woman had 15 puppies "ready to go"...OH...and she sells to pet stores. But I'm scared because of all the deaths she told me about...I couldn't handle it...if I had a dog that had problems giving birth...or where the puppies all died...or all but one died...I would get her spayed!! And she bred her when she was less than a year old. I did ask her since that little chocolate Chihuahua that I was going to buy...had one c section..would she have to have a c section the next time...she said...."probably not"...she weighs between 5-6 pounds. She said she just had a run of bad luck....is it bad luck...or bad breeding? She said she takes her dogs to the vet...but to me she didn't seem to have a connection to ANY of them...she talked about them as though they were just a way for her to make money. Please let me know what you think....Oh. ..one more thing...if I do breed Sox...I will just give all the babies to family members...several of us have them already...that way I will make sure they have good homes and I can visit them! I just want one of Sox's puppies...he is such a good dog...he's the best dog I have ever had...very loyal and loving..at least to me...haha... and he's beautiful!~~ ~ Sharon
