Daisy has a double coat. Sort of stiff on top and soft undercoat. But
smooth over all

double coated and rough coats are two different things. Double coated is
an undercoat. It is basically thicker and fuller. Whereas, a rough coat is
a term given to describe one that has neither a smooth coat nor a long
coat, but is somewhere in between. Remember though, that officially,
neither of these terms "exist" lol. The standards recognise only short
coat or long coat.
