My Vet sad it is more danger to give them smal doses often then one big one. Onion and Garlic will break down red bloodcells that will cost kidney failure.So i ratter be save then have a sick dog.

I had heard that about onion but not garlic.. Makes sense though they are both from the same family of veggies.. But I really think it is with this particular food.. Just one you don't want to feed daily or in large amounts.. My vet said that your dog is not going to die. If say you cook a beef stew and then give a little to the pup and it has onions in it.. Now you wouldn't want to do it every day because then you might have a problem..
