Hi guys This is not for my Chis, but for my greyhound. She was in the yard today and when she came in her back foot was bleeding. Well we took a look at it and one of her pads is almost completely torn off. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this and any suggestions. I was reading about it and it seems that field dogs and such have is more often. I have cleaned the area with antiseptic and covered it with antibiotic ointment wrapped it in gauze and put a baby sock on her. She is in pain when she walks and puts no pressure on the injury. We had a hard time cleaning it because it hurt her so she just wanted to run away. I felt bad for her but it needed to be clean. Anyways if anyone has and suggestions on the best way to handle this injury please let me know.
