Love and thoughts with Gabby. I have a 14 year old granddaughter and their dog passed recently. She just did not tell me about it because she did not want to "say it". My daughter and son (40 years old)  did not go to work they cried so much. It is good to cry and grieve. I was too was going to suggest a scrapbook, maybe a little later. It might be a good healing tool. I made a collage of my granddaughters dog on one picture and she has it hanging in her room. Whisper is looking down on you and will always be with you. God needed another "very Special dog" to be with him.
