You can also falsely register dogs AKC, know someone who did it regularly, he just got papers for more puppies than he had and used them for other dogs had a friend who bred and sold wolves, would not take them back when people couldn't handle them one of her females nearly killed the other, her husband beat it with a 2x4 to get it off, don't remember how they killed it the survivor died of HWs because their rural vet wouldn't treat wolves, and she didn't bother to find one who would - I located an x-zoo vet who diagnosed and euthanized it her three wolves lived their entire lives in 100 ft square pens, full sum, Texas heat, with only a plywood lean to - her other dogs had never been on preventative but now are I am rambling but think my point is there are good and bad breeders regardless of whether they do papers
