I think that is the point. Why do you breed? is it because you like it, do you show your dogs, and are trying to improve the breed standard? I think the issue will always be unethical PEOPLE. I know this conversation/posting has been discuss in the past. I don't think anyone will ever agree. We all are entitled to our opinion. IMO, if someone is breeding because they like puppies, or because they love THEIR dog so much, and want a duplicate, or they will receive any income from a puppy . I don't know if those are good reasons. Especially since there are so many in shelters, homeless, etc. I also don't think that just because some involves them self in rescue earns them the right to breed. I give these examples because, these are the things I've read / heard people say/do. Your right about papers, anyone can register a dog with with any fly by night registry. But again it goes back to unethical people, trying to make a buck. once again JUST my opinion. My intention is not to offend anyone. Amie
