I'm trying to figure out what the best food to feed my chi would be. She has a
lot of trouble
chewing kibble, which is why I recently switched her to Natural Choice small
bites for puppies
from Canidae Chicken and Rice. She seemed to be liking it, but upon further
research I
discovered a lot of owners have been having issues with Nutro brand foods very
recently and
there has been talk of contamination and recall, so I got her off it
immediately and went back
to Canidae. She has trouble chewing the pieces, though. I feel like I've tried
every "Natural"
dog food out there. I even tried Evo's small dog kibble and she didn't seem to
like it. My
boyfriend's pets were among the very first to be poisoned in the wave of pet
food recalls and
I'm concerned about pet food in general. It seems like there is always
SOMETHING bad about
every pet food I've researched. Are there any brands out there that are
actually healthy? Any
brands that my chi won't have so much trouble chewing (she's really small).

Any input would be much appreciated. I think finding healthy pet food is a
common concern
for all of us on this board. Perhaps we can exchange some knowledge about the
topic?
