You're correct on picking him up anyway.  If you pull away, he is dominating
the action.  Ignore his growling, and a quick "sshtt" should tell him, you're 
not playin
around!

My little guy is 6 months old. Recently he has started something new that I am 
not happy with. When he is curled up on the sofa or bed and I pick him up to 
move him he growls. I have been saying No and move him anyway but I don't want 
him behaving like that. We always have cuddled with him and he sleeps with us 
but maybe we have spoiled him. Any ideas?
