Pop is 3 and still does that. We had trouble with him from the begining. I believe that part of his problem was that his testicles never dropped and cause pain so he didn't like being touched. There was a big improvement once he was nuetered, but he still has a big attitude. Also he has...what do you call it?... slipping knee. It will eventually have to be operated on, but as of now, has only happened 5 or 6 times in his 3 years. Before he was nuetured, he was so bad that I told my husband that if he were a big dog, he would have to be put down. I mean bad! very violent, attacking and biting. Now he's a love 95% of the time. Loves to be held and cuddled. And now when he has one of his moments, he growls and acts like he's going to bite, but only mouths. Of course, I am never mean to him, but I always insist on being the boss and never back down from him or let him have his way when he acts like that. Another thing I have noticed is that when he is on a blanket and you try to pick him up he gets nasty, so I take the blanket away. That upsets him, but he immediately cooperates with me. So maybe he is being possessive of the blanket. I'm not sure. I am interested in hearing what others have to say about this. Good luck. My little guy is 6 months old. Recently he has started something new that I am not happy with. When he is curled up on the sofa or bed and I pick him up to move him he growls. I have been saying No and move him anyway but I don't want him behaving like that. We always have cuddled with him and he sleeps with us but maybe we have spoiled him. Any ideas?
