The strange part is that she has a nice website, with lots of photos and on
it she does say that she does not allow people to come into her nursery but
nothing about not allowing people to go to her house. The puppies were in
individual carriers and looked well cared for, he had hand spray that he used
and asked me to use before handling the puppies. He drove a fancy car, not a
fly by night operation. Any way, it wasn't meant to be.

Glad you did. 1,000 for a dog in a parking lot does not sound good at all

Subject: [Chihuahuas] No Baby

Drove an hour to a nearby little town to see the babies. I sure am glad I
did. First of all, the long coat, as I knew he would, stole my heart but at
almost 6 mos, he is big and will probably be the same size as Cesar
when fully grown and I want a tiny baby. The smooth coat was 8 weeks old,
so he was tiny but looked nothing like the photo on the website. The
breeder's husband met me in a parking lot and it was soooo hot, the puppies
were hot
and so was I. It was just not conducive to making a relaxed decision on such
a major purchase, they wanted $1,000 for the tiny one but since he did not
make my heart melt, I passed.
