I think u made a wise decision. I have a rule of thumb.....If an animal
comes up to me in a friendly way I will consider buying them. If they r
stand offish, I leave them alone. I realize this can not be done with
rescues, because often they have been abused or neglegted. So I leave
them to those that r skilled in the area of rescue. There is a furbaby
out there for you. Often times I have to trust that God is keeping me
from getting the wrong one by saying no to the one I think I want. :-)

The breeder's husband met me in a parking lot and it was soooo hot,
the puppies were hot and so was I. It was just not conducive to
making a relaxed decision on such a major purchase, they wanted $1,000
for the tiny one but since he did not make my heart melt, I passed.
