I understand you are exactly right.. the only time my son is allowed to touch him or hold him is if he is sitting on the couch next to me and i am physically sitting right next time him with full eye contact... it only takes 1 second for something to happen!!!

He loves to sleep in his crate..Then I take him out and have some one on one time with him...this way my other dog doesnt get jealous I give them both alot of individual attention and my little 2 yr old son just loves him and is so gentle with him... I dont mean to be a pain but when I let the chihuahua ( Chico )and my maltese ( Munson ) sniff eachother I notice they both wag their tales but my maltese will salivate alot ...like it drips out of his mouth... and then when i take them apart he is fine... he is acting himself I just dont know what that means..
