Since, as you say, there realy is no such thing, there is realy no standard to compare by. It is subjective. What some may consider a "teacup" others may not. Generally though, when people are talking about what they consider a truly small representative of the breed, they are talking about those that are around the 2 or 3 pound range. I have never personally known of one smaller than about 2 pounds....although I have heard they exist, lol. And over three pounds gets you into a 4 pound range, which is pretty average for a chi......There are plenty people out there who consider any size chi to be a "teacup" simply because they are the smallest breed.And some people who have been around small chis forever and are not surprised by any small one. So again, it realy is just a matter of oppinion. But if you are trying to visualize what size the average person would consider "teacup", I would think along the lines of 2 to 3 pounds. But, I am glad you realise that the "teacup" chi is just a "myth" lol Marsha
