I gotta disagree with you. in the chihuahua breed, a sow is sonsidered any colored spotted on white. a parti color will have at least three colors if white is one of them, but may have two colors if neither are white. I don't know how it goes in cockers, only chis. if you have a chi that is white with black spots, it is a sow not a parti. If it is black and has white spots, that is diofferent as well, as sow is spotted on white...a white chi with spots. Marsha
