Thanks Marsha. I picked Gizmo up from the vets yesterday evening and he did
great! I kept a close eye on him last night and I didn't notice him licking
his incision area at all. He was very, very hungry when he came home and
wanted to play. The vet said no running around or jumping for a week so I just
gave him a little food and kept him in his x-pen. He acted like his normal
self after surgery so I guess he is okay! They bounce back quick, don't they?
I checked his incision sight this morning and it looks very good, not red at
all. The hardest part, I guess is keeping him quiet and still for a week, LOL!
He wants so bad to come out and play with my Australian Shepherd, Zoe (his
"big sister" and playmate) but I can't let him yet.

I hope everything went well. Poor baby. I wont leave mine over nighteither. As
far as after care, the vet will of course give youinstructions. I have never
realy had much problems with any of thembothering the stitches, so I have no
advice other than just keep and eyeon him.Marsha> Gizmo is at the vets today.
