There is always many different opinions on the best food to feed. I too have
been going through "What's the best for my chi". What it comes down to is that
the best food to feed your dog is what ever food it eats well and maintains its
health.
The biting problem is probably a dominance thing. Your 6 month old is saying
"Hey this is my house and I'm the boss", just keeping the baby in its place.
After a few weeks when the baby feels at home, she will start to come out of
her shell and stand up for herself. Since they are both young, I don't think it
will turn into anything violent or dangerous. It's just establishing the pack
order. Personally, I would still give a very lite scolding. A simple hand clap
and "That's not nice" or "Stop". I would refrain from the word No because no
means no and at this point they do need to work out some sort of pack order
then. They will get along just fine once the older one realizes that the new
pup is there to stay.
