My 2 year old little girl, Zoey, still eats poo. I can't get her to stop. If I
am home she will not poo in the house, she will even ask me to take her out.
But when I am not home, I know she pooped because I can see the stain on the
pee pee pad and no poop around. I don't know what to do either. I even tried
some kind of powder that the vet gave me but that didn't work.  Evelyn

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Gizmo Eating Poop, Yuck!

Gizmo (8 months old) is pee pad trained and he has started eating his poop,
yuck!  When I have to leave him to go to work for a couple of hours (4 hours at
the most), I leave him in his x-pen in the kitchen with bed, toys, water and
pee pad.  I know he has been eating his poop because I can see a little bit of
it on the paper but no poopie to clean up!

I have heard of dogs doing this before.  What can I do to break him of this
yucky habit?  Any ideas would be very helpful.
