The box is not expensive and I line Cesar's with newspaper and it has worked fine. By the way, some one here mentioned concern about using the newspaper, I asked my vet and he didn't see a problem with it. Gloria In a message dated 11/18/2008 9:22:26 P.M. Hi Gloria, I thought about that and how convenient it would be, but right now I think the costs outweigh benefit. :( With four kitties we already go through cat litter about 3 20-some lb buckets a month. lol Not to mention we've had to buy a new car recently as well as had quite a few unexpected repairs around the house. I'm not sure I want to add dog litter to that too since I'd have to get it online as our local pet shop doesn't carry it. :( But I am definitely keeping it in mind. If we just can't seem to get her pottying outside again we won't have much of a choice. lol Thanks Gloria! If she's home alone, if its too cold, if it snows, then she can use the box. At all other times she can continue to go outside. Gloria P In a message dated 11/18/2008 9:03:56 P.M. Now however we're in the middle of a snowstorm for 3 days now. We have more than a foot and a half of snow. We finally got her housetrained and now the snow is here and her being from a warm state has never seen snow before. I'm having a really hard time getting her to pee/poo outside in the cold. She stands there shivering and looking up at me. (I always put at least a sweater or her sweater and jacket on depending on how cold it is.) I keep giving her the command we taught her 'Go Potty' and instead of going potty she walks back to the house and within an hour either peep's or poop's on the rug. :/ I know that snow, especially that much of it, is confusing to her and that I need to be patient with her until she learns. But does anyone have any suggestions to help make this go quicker for us both? Thanks so much guys! No virus found in this outgoing message.
