Hi,
We've had our little guy but three weeks. When we received him we were
told that he was eating Beneful.
My wonderful dil is a pet groomer, has licenses for something or other
(I really can't remember exactly what right now.)...anyway, she said
she didn't want to tell us what to do with our little guy but suggested
that we gradually over a 3-5 day period take him off the Beneful and
she suggested Nutro or Natural Balance.
We did exactly as she suggested. The difference...doesn't eat like he
is starving...better stools...and a great disposition.
When we took him to the vet they gave us a bag of Science Diet...look
at the ingredients...corn...animal fat...yuck no way will I feed that
to anyone (not even a pig if I had one).
We use the Natural Balance, which by the way, comes in a variety of
flavors...we also use it for his treats.
This is just our experience...but I will always look at the labels on
anything we feed our little guy just as I do when I purchase food for
us.
