Before I even got Apache, I read how Chi's have this cough and they have something unusual to do with their esophagus....but it still scares me to death when he does that...he did it this morning. It freaks me out...but of course it stops and I feel much better.

Turns out that she developed pneumonia. I would take her back if it does not go away, just to make sure it hasn't developed into pneumonia. She was on medication for about 3 weeks before it went away. I hope your puppy gets to feeling better soon --- On Tue, 12/9/08, Yisraela <yisraela_hc@ yahoo.com> wrote: From: Yisraela <yisraela_hc@ yahoo.com> Subject: [Chihuahuas] coughing To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ups.com Date: Tuesday, December 9, 2008, 2:32 PM When I got Lacy a month ago, she started coughing after having her a week. The vet put her on ten days antibiotics and she got a little better. The previous owner said it was kennel cough and it would run its course in 2 weeks. She is still coughing. Cant go back to the vets yet. Anyone familiar with kennel cough? Thanks, Yis Yisraela & the adorable chi, Lacy Lou
