Hi! I didn't have the pup on heart worm meds...just regular worm meds itslittle
belly was full of worms.....I think I got rid of a lot of them, butshe will
need re-wormed next month to make sure...but anyhow, I placed heryesterday with
a 5 year old girl who has spina bifida and is confined to awheelchair. I got a
lot of replies on the pup, but this was the one I feltwas the best match. And
boy was that little girl happy. Her mom emailed melast night to tell me they
had played tugawar on the floor till they wereboth wore out, then cuddled
together and fell asleep :-) The child hadbeen taught from an early age to be
gentle, and I observed she was. Shehad wanted a dog for a long time, but her
mom was a fraid a bigger one mayoverpower her since she can't walk...and a
small breed was tooexpensive.....so this was just a match made in heaven! Also,
they aregonna train the pup to retrieve small items for the girl, ect so it can
