Cesar is fine with visitors, if he knows them well he will stand on the couch next to the person, with his front paws on the person's knee. He does the same to me, when I sit and read the newspaper. Cesar and I went for a nice walk yesterday, it was a lovely day and I think he enjoyed getting out of the house and leaving the new little guy at home. The walk was great because we did not encounter any other dogs out walking. Cesar is good with people but not with other dogs especially those bigger than he is. Mine are not good with strangers and even those they know they bark for a while because they are excited before they settle down. The reason we got the first was to keep me company while my husband worked and because I needed a dog that I didn't need to walk because I can't. The second was to keep the first company and help socialize her but it ended up that neither is very socialized. Except with us and after a certain time with others. Only you and God know your heart.
