When I bought Katydid ,I questioned why her mother was so long and the breeder
said  it was because  females  are longer so there's  room for  babies. I guess
that could make sense.

Being as Jaelyn is my first Chihuahua I'm still not knowledgable about
all things Chi. ;)  So I have (yet another) question.

I'm wondering if Jaelyn's size is typical compared to other chi's,
mainly in the chest area. She weighs 3 1/2 lbs and she's 8 inches long
(from neck to tail). However her chest area is 13" wide and her hip
area is 10" wide.

Is this normal or is she unique?  Sometimes it's difficult to buy her
clothes because her length and chest width don't match an outfits
sizing measurements.
