just keep doing that and all will adjust ... if mom wants to feed let her ...
and offer her food in with them and let them get into hers ... just feed her
what you want them to have...

Just wondering how to ween my pups from mommy. My pups will be 5 weeks old on
Saturday.  I have started a little bit and mom does not seem to want to ween
them yet.  I put food in for the puppies and they seem a little interested and
will eat a little of it.  Mom is really having a hard time letting go, any
suggestions?   For example this morning I moved her out of the welping bed so
they could try to eat and she/mom went off to 'pout'. LOL...so am I weening to
early?  Thanks for any suggestions.  Melody
