I let my moms decide for themselves when to wean the pups. Some moms are
early weaners and some like to hang on as long as possible. I had a mom
and daughter who had pups at the same time...like 2 weeks apart...and the
daughter was desperately trying to wean her pups but her mommma kept
nursing the grandpups as well and it was driving Cayenne crazy! I swear
you could see cay sigh each time Ginger nursed them and I also swear you
could see Ginger laugh about it!! lol. Mom will do whats best if you just
let her :-)
