ya no questionable meats in the dog bowl... you can feed freezer burn tho- as long as its not spiced ... it wont go "bad" just not taste fresh and they dont care. ...and i agree on the "dog food making" being unacceptable... even the very best kibbles will shop around for their ingredients so there is no consistency even when the label doesn't change. and there will ALWAYS be fillers dogs dont need in kibbles... even the top-o-the line ones... trying to convince us our dogs need beets? pleeze lol....and POTATOES?? ha ha good one. sugars and starches. dogs need meat. and that's all they need. fresh meat, bone, and organ. when a kibble lists 65 ingredients to mimic what a dog needs and i can provide what a dog needs with one word... chicken...(whole) ill do the math... It has to be something I would eat myself. With a processed kibble you still have all the same worries you mentioned PLUS many more...kibble can be made with by-products from a rendering plant...ya know dead road kill and diseased animals...not to mention the rat and other rodent droppings mixed into the food because of the deplorable conditions of the plants themselves. To me there is nothing filfthier than a dog food plant! I just have one question. What about bad meat? Stuff that has salmonella or mad cow disease? Has that ever been a problem? Do yall ever worry about that?
