AKC will not honor/register a litter with a Sire less than 7 months old and will want documentation "proof". There are MANY cases of young dogs getting a bitch pregnant before 6 months!!! Scary but true! After testies drop...anyone is at risk. I am NOT anti-breeding if it is for a reason...a purpose...to further the breed in a positive way...but seriously??? It scares me to think of how many people are just putting out litters with no knowledge and understanding of what is actually happening to the Chihuahua...it just breaks my heart!!!!
