I'm by no means experienced in the chi arena on this topic. My dad had a Dalmatian who he fed table scraps to. The dog's stomach had lots of problems and the vet got after him to stop feeding him big macs and macaroni and cheese. To transfer him over to dog food my dad fed him ground beef and rice for several weeks. I think if I was in your position I would look up home cooked meals for dogs online. There are lots of good recipes for human grade dog meals. You could do simple things like boiled chicken. My pup likes veggies as a treat too. Good luck and congrats on your new little flower.
