Well guys...I do apologize for allowing myself to get so worked up over all of
this!!!  It is just such an emotional subject for me!!! Seeing so many little
dogs being put down cuz the novelty has worn off has tainted me I am afraid. I
certainly don't want to lump in good rescues with bad...good breeders with
bad...I just KNOW things need to change!!! I just KNOW there are too many dogs
being born in ratio to responsible owners. Where would we be without
breeders???
Rescues??? We don't need to change breeders so much as maybe the mind-set of
the
general population...that dogs are disposable play things...novelties for a
season...that ignorance about nutrition and health care is accepted because
after all they are "just dogs". And I think we change things like that one
person at a time...with groups just like this...that educate, encourage and
help
us celebrate the relationships we have with our furbabies! So I am so sorry if
I
"over-posted" and over-reacted and stayed on my soapbox WAY too long!!! I
certainly don't want to cause irritation or anger within this group...I love
this group!!! So...again I apologize!!! I am really stepping off my soapbox
now....and let's continue on encouraging and educating each other...one dog at
a
time  I think EVERYONE here has their hearts in the right place even if we each
might do things or see things a little differently!!!!
 Hugs In Him,
Deanna

This is so true Dasha...a few bad apples can spoil the whole basket. IT is
the same for breeders, rescuers and basically any group of people....
