YES!!! Please share...I thought about this last night and went to a couple web sites...Went to the freezer and took out a couple pork chops...All the time thinking no way my chi's will go for this...Today I cut the chops in small pieces and served it up...They all looked at it like you have to be kiding...Then Luci cleaned her plate...Mini ate a a little but I think I will have to grind the the meat for her...Tiki took a coulpe of bites and turned her nose up and walked away...Luci woould have eaten all three plates if I had let her...I guess plates sounds funny, but they each have their own...Not spoild are they?
Thanks so much,
 Lois

hi, im new to chi's but have been feeding raw to my danes almost 2 years now... when i started them "sillygoose" was 5 yrs...beautiful was 2 and my boy  "McDreamy" was 12 weeks old... i just started my chi at 7 weeks old  (one lb) and her brother , by the time we got him he was 12 weeks old... he has only been on raw food for 5 days now and has gone from watery bloody stool , coccidia, hair loss and too weak and depleted to even hold his ears up ...to a bouncy happy ball of oh my goodness...iams is not a good kibble... check the ingredients... you don't want corn, grain or "by-products" if you would like some feeding ideas id be glad to share what i do that is working so well ...easy-peasy

I feed raw and started some of mine when they were older! I will never go back!!! I have had GREAT results with coats, teeth, far less seizures with my Poodle, and GREAT stools!!! I am one happy dog mom!!! The Fabulous Five are flourishing on the raw diet!!! 85% raw meat, 10% raw bones and 5% organs!

I have never tried raw feeding...I feed my Chi's cooked chicken (legs and thighs skinless) and some Ims dry dog food...How many here do the raw feeding? And could you start an older dog on this? Sorry for all the questions...
Thank you,
Lois

would you consider raw feeding. i read it really helps diminish seizures and controls weight...

Hello, My name is Lois and I think I was in this group before but it had a diffrent name? I live in Virginia with my husband Gary and our 3 chi's Luci 8, Mini 7 and Tiki 6 yrs. old...Tiki is Luci's baby...

I have a question...Luci is having a really hard time with seizures...This started about a year ago we have been to the vet several times he had her on meds but they did not help and she gained so much weight that he took her off of them...She only has the seizures when she is sleeping...She wakes up screaming almost like a babies crying, then shakes and gags and is over it...I thoought I would ask if anyone in the group has had this problem?

I just can't understand why it is only while sleeping and only at night??? Her little legs are so deformed from the weight gain and she has such a hard time getting around, but she is a little go getter and waddles around on her own...We love her so much it hurts us to see her this way...We give her all the love we can...
I would be greatful for any information you can give me...

Thanks so much for your help,
Lois
