ya.. I told my daughter never to get a cat or small dog... but get the biggest mean dog she can find so it can defend itself. lol Ricky acts like a German Shepard!! He is very brave!

I have told the BF not to tease Ricky. BF said that is not teasing... bla bla bla. Yesterday when I was not here, I asked my daughter to keep her eyes on Ricky while I run to the store. There was a problem Where I guess Ricky ran after the BF, and supposedly bit his boot. so the BF proceeded to yell and scream at Ricky which only make Ricky more angry (Ricky wont back down!). My daughter called me and told me I needed to come home cuz of this. I did go, tried to talk to the BF in a calm mature manner, but the BF proceeded to tell me I need to get rid of the @#...@#@# dog... and so on. I told him I was NOT getting rid of Ricky. and that was the end of that. I guess the BF and my daughter (if she wants) can find there own place. My daughter is 19 and the BF is 25, both working and have a car. The BF has no right to tell me what I should do, or not to do. I will not use the water on him. I do correct him and he listens to me. I don't think they are very "nice". For whatever reason your sweet Chi does not like this guy and YOU are his momma. He needs to know that his Mama does not like his behaviour. My personal course of action would be to set up situations...with you there of course...where Ricky would act out towards the boyfriend. As for the bridge...I would have the BF hand him pieces of the chicken he loves to eat sitting next to him. But do the correction first. Mouse had really issues in the beginning...even as a pup he was extra agressive towards men...he was bonded to me and it was up to me to change his tude...now he is fine! But I do have to say whenever a new "male" enters our house for any reason...I get the look...Mama??? Want me to take him out??? I just give him a "behave yourself glare" and then he welcomes whomever the guy is...but he always checks with me first. I think he is waiting for the day I give him the "go ahead"...how happy he would be to defend his mama against an intruder!!!
