ya i dont think they should be cast asside either... and i agree one can be
ignored when the only pet ... im saying IF a dog has a chance to have a BETTER
life else where you should not just keep him cause you already own him .
sometimes its harder to do the better thing.... for instance, i once had
yorkies
and danes at the same time and they were raised from babies to co mingle and be
safe .... one little female while raised as slow and soft as the rest, never
got
past how scarry big they were to her....she was homed to a man and lady who
owned one yorkie who he just closed in his car door and killed at the age of
12.....she was not supposed to be there . so he had no need to check for her
...
he thought. so after 10 months of wanting to be dead to join her his wife
contacted me one day asking if i had pups... they got the last one from me.   i
didnt, so a few days go by , im watching chrystal...(the dynasty collection)
cower and shake (the only one out of 7 who is scared ) so i called the lady and
explained i had a yearling who cant cope with big dogs was she interested ...
no
fee just give her back if her hubby cant bond. well she was desperate to ease
his grief so said she would give it a try... 3 weeks later she calls me and
says
its not working he keeps saying "she is no princess" so i say ok bring her back
and ill let you know when i breed again maybe he will have better luck with a
baby... i didnt hear anything the next day or the next... getting worried i
called and she reports once she told him "its ok ill take her back, she will
never be princess", a light went off for him and he said well she isnt our
princess but she IS chrystal!! and maybe a different dog is ok...they soon
bonded very well and she lived to be 16!! at which time he said if you get me
another dog ill kill you.
darcy =)~...

And ya know it depends on the breeder/owner too. When I was breeding poodles
ALL
of them were loved, cherished, babied, nurtured, spoiled and doted on!!!
Breeders or not!!! And even now with just 8...it is the same thing...I LOVE
them
all. And they ALL get the very best! Whether I have 1 or 15 it would be exactly
the same!!!   And trust me...there are many homes with only one dog and that
dog
gets ignored, stuck in a yard or kennel and is not treated the best...NUMBERS
whether BREEDERS OR NOT are NOT the ISSUE!!! It is the individual owner!!!!
