Hi Lorena...the simplest answer is simply take him with you! LOL!!! I think Chi's just NEED to be with their people. Is he an only dog? Have you considered adding in another little Chi so he can have a play buddy while your gone??? Distraction is a wonderful tool and maybe another little love bug is just what he needs while you are away! He obviously isn't bonded to your fiance' correct? I leave him with my fiance at our home where he is most comfortable. When I get back, he will not leave my side for a long time and he whines a lot and this last time soon after i got home he pigged out on his food.
