id bet what works for bigger dogs will not work for chi's they are different... im having luck with teaching sit on command by petting her into a sit while saying the work...then praise... praise works better than treats. you always have your mouth and they love to be praised. using a loud clear "EH!" one or 2 , for a bad behavior. with one finger like a no no finger shake... its working to get her to "get" whats unwanted. i taught her to fetch , go find a toy, always pee in the box, (still working on poo, instinct says poo farther away than pee) no bite, "EH" means no, she is just 4 months old and very eager to learn ... oh and loving her raw foods.

In the meantime, Paco was a total couch potato and didn't care where I set him. We'll start the classes in a couple of weeks and hope they help. She even bit me and drew blood recently when I tried to put her in the submissive position after she started growling.
