Yeah, I never thought I would own a Chihuahua but she has captured my heart!
Alot like my old Cavalier did... I miss My cavalier Angel everyday but sweetie
has help fill that place. I have started to think about finding her a friend!
But now I'm enjoying pampering sweetie! We are going shopping for new toys and
a halloween outfit friday!

Welcome too! I to am new to this group but its a great bunch of people that all
adore their chi's and as far as I am concerned their is not a better breed
around. I never thought 10 years ago that I would ever have one as I thought
they were just yappy little dogs. But boy did I find out that they have the
biggest hearts, they are so smart and so loyal to thier owners. They really
like their own breed too because of their size they enjoy playing with someone
that is like them. In fact in about 3 weeks I am getting my little girl's real
sister. I am so excited the wait has seemed longer than when I was pregnant and
although I get a lot of pictures she is almost 2 hours away from me so I have
not got to hold her yet. I can not wait! Best of luck!

Welcome!  Make going out fun.  Lots of praise and treats.  When you are relaxed
it makes it easier for your dog to relax.  Practice frequently and keep trips
fairly short to begin with.  Frida loves going to outdoor coffee shops, friends
homes, car rides and parks.  I always encourage people to take a training
class.  It was amazing for our bonding and confidence.  Just have fun together!

Hello everyone, I just adopted a Chihuahua and Laso apso mix... She got more of
the chihuahua genes. I adopted her about three months ago. She is 10 months
old, Her name is Sweetie. She truly is my Sweet heart we seem to be bonding
more and more. Her best friend(besides me) is my sisters Yorkie and shit tzu
mix. I live in phoenix Arizona and I'm having a hard time finding places where
her and I can go together... She gets nervous with new people and when going
outside does anyone have and ideas hpw I can socialize her? I really want to be
able to take her everywhere with me or almost everywhere
