As I get older I just don't care much anymore if people agree...I have learned to do my research...maybe to the point of being obsessed with truth...and learning from others that have good tested ideas. What someone "Thinks" about something they have not spent time being involved in means very little to me. I felt that your post about taking the dog to the vet...while scarry...was something that should be thought about. I too lost a dog that started vomitting violently...and died later at the vets...so it does happen. Too bad if it scares someone! I think typing something out that happened to your dog can leave out so much...never enough details. If the person witnessing the vomitting witnessed bizarre behavior or some other detail that we were not privy too...seeking a vet is good advice. Nothing to worry about can turn into an emergancy in a very short time...and if taking your baby to the vet gives you peace of mind just to check things out...I thinks thats GREAT!!! I know that he loves each and every dog he helps. Plus I love how he raises his sons to be respectful young men and to honor him and their mother. He started out washing dogs because he believed in his gift. He took on the dogs that everyone else wanted to throw away! I did not know this group had bad feelings about him, but I am his fan and have much respect for him. I did what he recommended when my Sami was snapping at biting at my grandkids and it worked and I did not hurt him at all, but he knew that my grandkids were also leaders of our pack! I am a HUGE fan of Cesar's!!! I don't bring him up much because he sparks controversy...mostly from those that really don't know his training methods. I think he is wonderful and I use most of his methods. There are a few that that I don't adopt but I bet there isn't a trainer out there that has a program that i would 100%agree with anyway!. In the meantime, Paco was a total couch potato and didn't care where I set him. We'll start the classes in a couple of weeks and hope they help. She even bit me and drew blood recently when I tried to put her in the submissive position after she started growling.
