Barbara - how cute it sounds like your family is all settled down, I am hoping that mine will be that too. I always think that Pit Bulls and Chi's are probably the most understood breeds of all. As everyone thinks Pits are mean (which they are not) and Chi's are little yappy biters and we all know that is not true :) I think you have to own the breed to really understand how wonderful they both are. We just hope she doesn't decide to do this when we have company! My first chi Missy, was a birthday present. She was born on my birthday and she came to live with me 8 weeks later. Chloe was 9 months old when i got her. I just fell in love with her. Daisy was my Christmas present last Christmas. She fit in right away. One thing with Chloe and Daisy, they think they are pit bulls as they were brought up with a pit. But the pit bull thinks he is a chi and tries to get on your lap when you visit and he is 90 pounds of muscle! My nephew is owned by my babies mom and dad and he also has two pit bulls and 4 other chis. There is nothing like the love of a chi. My babies have been a lifesaver many times. If you are down they know, if you are happy they know. Nothing like a wet kiss from a chi to chase the blues away. I am new to having two dogs and would be scared to leave Maggie at 1lb alone with Abbey at 4lb's I am not sure when it would be safe. It is very though thinking how so many of these little ones spent so many years suffering. They have so much to give and no matter how sad I feel or how bad a day I've had I know they will give me 100% of their love the minute I walk through the door. It gives you something to look forward to. I just posted more pictures. The newest one, Prissy, is very little, about 3.05 lbs. She was starving to death when they caught them.
