I have skimmed over ads on craigslist but I just feel it right to go look at the shelter first! Plus I kinda like projects! I have a lot of love to give! And patience and understanding to go with it!

She took months to settle and is still way different from my other two chi's.. She was around 6 MO old when I got her and spent the next 3 MO wrapped in a receiving blanket on my lap or shoulder, she never really played with toys or much else. She is attached to my one cat Elvis who is about her same age, and she will defend the younger chi's to her death. But she is still different. She just know they can require tons of extra support. Oh and she also has health problems they do not. But all that being said, she is just perfect.. lol Huggles Pat in OK -------Original Message------- From: Joyce mccarthy Date: 10/28/2010 10:24:36 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] after a long debate I am starting my search to add another chihuahua to my famil Also a lot of times from shelters there not all owner surrenders some may be from Mills...So the adults are more stand offish and will take lot's of love and time and I do mean time many think a month is long enough...And it's not...even though there life may have been a bad one it's all they knew and living life in a home is more stressful then being in a cage...Lot's of patience is must..I know when I have adults to re-home I like to do it before they get to old it's not fair to them they grieve like we do for there owners...
