Hi

lol...  Well, it could be like when I went to the APCA looking for a dog. Heres
poor Ricky tiny, skinny, cold, and sweet! At least at the shelter he was! 4
years old, owner turn in... that was all I was really told. We passed him back
and forth between my daughter and I, and he was fine, loving and giving kisses
bla bla bla. After getting him home, we found out that he is a bit
aggressive!!! But I love him, and I am working with him. He loves me to
death... he is learning to socialize a little. :). AND THIS CHI GROUP IS
WONDERFUL!! FOR HELP, LISTENING, AND CARING.

If I had it to do over again, I would still pick Ricky!!

Shanna

Also a lot of times from shelters there not all owner surrenders some may be
from Mills...So the adults are more stand offish and will take lot's of love
and time and I do mean time many think a month is long enough...And it's
not...even though there life may have been a bad one it's all they knew and
living life in a home is more stressful then being in a cage...Lot's of
patience is must..I know when I have adults to re-home I like to do it before
they get to old it's not fair to them they grieve like we do for there owners...

I don't mind puppies, but I'm leaning toward adultish cause I know they get
looked over sometimes! I don't mind some training... That was helpful! Thank
you...

Well I am not a rescuer but have done some in my day...I would look for
personality and as much background info you can on each one...That's the same
thing people do when coming to us as breeders..Find out if there used to
children etc..do you want a puppy or adult do you want one who's housebroke or
are you willing to take the time to correct or train..Lot's of ??'s to ask
yourself...
