I have heard that if you cover their nose with your hand or fingers and make them breath through their mouth , it will cause them to stop . This condition is a collapsing trachea , maybe if you research that you will find more info . However , I am certainly not a veterinarian , so that would be the most important one to ask :-) Good Luck
