a very wise baby doc told me as an over protective new mom that i needed to practice "mindful neglect" a bit to encourage confidence... it works for dogs too.when you coddle and dote you teach them there really IS something to worry about. like when they fear a storm... i took my fearful dog out in the rain for a few minutes and we played... she was not scared of them after that...years ago i had another small poodle i would baby and console through storms and she feared them all her life.. darcy.

Hasn't been throwing up since Friday and he loves the turkey and rice. He still isn't very active. He followed me around this morning and when i would sit down he'd look at me like he wanted something but I couldn't figure out what he wanted. I took him out, fed him, tried to play with him, gave him lots of love, but he still acted like he wanted something. I wish they could tell us what they wanted. Its really frustrating when you cant figure it out. Now he's sleeping but hes been doing this a lot lately. Any suggestions on what he might want or need? Also, i've been warming up the turkey and rice for him but can i feed it cold? Thanks for all the help! Lorena and Monster
