Hi Nancy...it is hard to keep up with my whirl-wind isn;t it??? LOL. Actually with everything going on with Nugget I just put the shelter rescue right out of my head...we had headed down there and on our way we got into an accident which gave me a day to think...that night and the next Nugget had the most violent seizures EVER!!! and close together...and lots of them!! So between the accident and Nugget, heading to the shelter got really put on hold! I know someday that will be what I do...I just feel it! But I want to do it right...have the right facility etc. I have a dear friend that just got her rescue dogs seized because she didn't meet county requirements...I would die if that happened! So I have lots to do to get in the right position.
WE haven't contacted Gail about Harley yet because everything hit with Nugget when it did. I just wanted a few days to think things through...I am so bad at acting impulsively!! So we were waiting! If Gail has other homes awaiting have her go ahead if she needs to. If it works out...then it is meant to be...but I just need a few days. I will email her by Wednesday to let her know but if you would let her know we are in a holding pattern that would be awesome! I have hardly been on email as I had my granddaughter Paige from Oregon for 2 nights, then my local grandson Dave for one night and two days. So have not had my time to sit and enjoy my emails from you all. Maggie is growing by leaps and bounds not only on the outside but in my heart also. She is just the happiest puppy and a pure joy. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her. Abbey and her are doing great and I am going to try and get a picture tomorrow of them so you can see how big and beautiful she is and what a wonderful big sissy and mommy Abbey has been.
